EQUIPMENT GENERAL INFORMATION
Excessive earth used by other equipment on the site ends up leaving the soil in a soft and heterogeneous state, weakening the safety and stability of the structure and/or work. In this situation the Road Roller comes in, an easy-to-operate equipment used to compact land, access and roads.
Its work consists in preparing the soil for the most varied activities and projects in civil construction, mining, roads, dams, airports, ports, among others.
In earthmoving activities, the Road Roller is an excellent ally, as it compacts the earth and fills the empty areas present in the soil, which increases its load-bearing capacity.
MAIN USES OF THE PRODUCT
In addition to compacting soil on construction sites, road rollers are responsible for:
- Compress crushed stone, gravel or any other material that serves as paving for a land or road;
- Compress asphalt (surface sealing to guarantee its durability and prevent the entry of water and other liquids);
- Aerate and dry wet clay and sediment;
- Fill holes and make small repairs on roads or highways.
MIXED ROAD ROLLER (SMOOTH WHEEL AND SHEEP FOOT)
All road roller models in our fleet are mixed, that is, the same equipment is able to work with both accessories, being smooth wheel (recommended for earthmoving or asphalt work) or sheep foot (used to penetrate the surface, which increases the contact area, separating the particles and even favoring the evaporation of the soil to be better compacted).

The CAT CS 423E Road Roller has power of 83 HP, operating weight of 7.1 tons, a compaction width of 1676mm and a closed ROPS/FOPS cabin with air conditioning.
Rental of CAT CS 54 Road Roller
The model CAT CS 54B Road Roller has power of 132 HP, operating weight of 10.8 tons, a compaction width of 2134mm and a closed ROPS/FOPS cabin with air conditioning.
