EQUIPMENT GENERAL INFORMATION
The crane truck is a type of vehicle widely used on construction sites in Brazil. The Implement (Crane) is mounted on the chassis of a truck with a wooden or metal body.
Its main role is to lift, handle and transport loads, metallic structures and other construction, mining and industrial materials, among others.
This type of vehicle can perform tasks in the field with agility, versatility and especially safety, since its construction and technological resources are developed to meet the technical and regulatory aspects of the market, guaranteeing performance and mainly operational safety for customers.
MAIN APPLICATIONS OF THE PRODUCT
The rental of this type of equipment is recommended for all segments, the most common are: Industries, mining, civil works, roads, plants, ports, airports and all types of construction/work where there are large needs for transport, lifting, assembling, and cargo movement.
The crane truck can be assembled in different capacities, sizes and configurations. Currently, ETS has a complete line of products ranging in lifting capacity from 6.5 to 48 ton/m. The vehicles also have several features and tools, which will be detailed below:

- REMOTE CONTROL – JOYSTICK – BETTER LOAD VIEW AND SAFETY
Some ETS crane trucks are equipped with remote control, and work on more than one radio frequency. This makes possible the operation of more than one crane on the construction site and prevents an operator from moving other equipment mistakenly. Frequency switching is automatic. An adjuster with four different speeds guarantees precision of movements and, as a complement, the remote control also has the function of starting and stopping (on/off) the truck’s engine, bringing more practicality during daily operations.
Remote control operation is carried out by just one person, without the need for an assistant. The operator displacement allows better visualization of the load and greater safety, as he will be further away from danger areas.
- INCLINOMETER, TRAFFIC LIGHT AND ALARM KIT
Some ETS trucks are equipped with a safety kit consisting of a digital inclinometer, traffic light and audible alarm. This set indicates the maximum working inclination and blocks operations above the maximum permitted angle. The kit also has yellow, green and red safety lights that visually indicate to the operator the risk limit before blocking. When approaching the limit, the audible alarm comes on to interrupt and block the operation in the risk zone.
- “DEAD MAN” BUTTON
Trucks equipped with a Joystick can be equipped with a dead man’s button, which requires double control of operations. This device guarantees the interruption of activity in the event of incidents or emergencies involving the operator.
- SAFETY VALVES
ETS cranes are equipped with hydraulic oil valves that guarantee greater precision and safety in operations. Some valves are programmed to automatic open of the oil flow and release, which imposes on the crane load lifting restrictions that are greater than those projected by the load chart and sized by the factory.
- 100% HYDRAULIC OUTRIGGER PAD SET
ETS has vehicles equipped with hydraulic kits for all stabilizers. This feature allows the operator greater safety, efficiency and agility in stabilization with outrigger pads.
- AIR CONDITIONING AND MASTER KEY
The entire ETS fleet is equipped with standard air conditioning, which guarantees the driver greater comfort during the workday. We understand that a piece of equipment that contains an ergonomic structure provides the workers and our customers with greater productivity.
Our fleet is already equipped with the master key device, which allows greater safety in emergency and preventive and corrective maintenance operations.
- TRACTION VARIETY
ETS has different types of vehicles and applications. We currently have cranes with 4×4, 6×4, 6×2 and 4×2 traction. Thus, the customer can choose the model with performance compatible with the terrain of each project.
- CABLE WINCH
Some crane trucks in the ETS fleet are equipped with a cable winch, which allows tasks to be carried out using a lifting block (similar to cranes). This feature is currently available on the following models: PK 23000, PK 38502E and MD 43607.
Working with a cable winch allows the customer greater flexibility in working on assemblies. It is important to highlight that the lifting capacity using a cable winch must respect the specific load tables (indicated by the manufacturer) for this accessory.
- GUARDRAIL AND LADDER
Our fleet is equipped with accessories to receive and install side guardrails in accordance with current regulations and access ladders. These accessories guarantee the customer and operator greater safety in daily operations and ease of access to the vehicle body.
- WOODEN MESH
Some crane trucks are equipped with wooden mesh. This accessory allows the transport of special loads such as posts, rebar, profiles, beams, and hardware of significant lengths. The resistance capacity of each mesh must be observed.
With this device, the customer will have greater flexibility and mobility of loads on the construction site with trailer economy since the loads will be handled and transported by the crane itself.
- SIDE PROTECTORS
The crane trucks are equipped with side protectors, for greater traffic safety and compliance with Brazilian standards.
